DESCRIPTION:Bread for the World\, a Christian Advocacy Organizational\, est
 ablished in the 1970’s reminds us of the gift of citizenship in a democr
 acy which gives us freedom to make known our values and our commitment to 
 our elected officials in government. This year’s Offering of Letters wil
 l be collected on Sunday May 17. Guidance for writing your letters will be
  provided on Sunday May 10. Writing these letters saves lives. This year E
 mmanuel is doing our Bread for the World Offering of Letters on Mother’s
  Day because the programs we will write about directly benefit mothers and
  children. Instructions and a sample letter are at the end of the announce
 ments.
