Meals for Friends is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.  It is an independent, volunteer-managed meal home delivery program for seniors & disabled citizens in the Wilkins Township area that delivers two meals a day, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) to those who have signed up.  A hot meal and a bagged lunch are included.  Meals are nutritious, freshly cooked comfort food that appeals to anyone.  For those who wish to have additional days, arrangements can be made.  Meals for Friends delivers meals to Wilkins Township and the immediate surrounding area, specifically Eastmont, Penn Center apartments and area, Gilmore Acres, Greensburg Pike, Forest Hills, Chalfont, and northern Penn Hills.  For more information, call 412-824-2400.  https://www.mealsforfriendswilkins.com/


Casa san Jose, a Latino resource center, opened a satellite office at Emmanuel to serve the eastern suburbs.  Casa San Jose connects, supports, and advocates with and for the Latino Community, where they provide a variety of resources such as weekly clinics, food pantries, summer camps, community meetings, Know Your Rights sessions, and much more.  To meet a resource coordinator, find mental health support and much more, call 412-343-3111.  https://www.casasanjose.org/


AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), the Plug in the Jug AA group meets on Wednesdays at 8 pm.


NAPFE Union (National Association of Postal and Federal Employees) meets first Saturday of the month
