Bishop Abraham Allende is coming on Friday, January 9 to talk about Latine Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  The gathering will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Beechview at 7 p.m.

As Emmanuel develops The Welcoming Table, we have been welcomed by Holy Trinity to hold events in the neighborhood where many Spanish speakers live.  Venezuela chicken and other fine food will be served.

Bishop Allende is the bishop emeritus of the Northeastern Ohio Synod.  He grew up in Puerto Rico.  He is a baseball fan and has a special fondness for Roberto Clemente.
