Bread for the World, a Christian Advocacy Organizational, established in the 1970’s reminds us of the gift of citizenship in a democracy which gives us freedom to make known our values and our commitment to our elected officials in government. This year’s Offering of Letters will be collected on Sunday May 17. Guidance for writing your letters will be provided on Sunday May 10. Writing these letters saves lives. This year Emmanuel is doing our Bread for the World Offering of Letters on Mother’s Day because the programs we will write about directly benefit mothers and children. Instructions and a sample letter are at the end of the announcements.
