RISE AGAINST HUNGER
A joint event for the Lutheran congregations in the Eastern suburbs
Saturday, November 15, beginning at 9:30am.
St. John’s Lutheran in North Versailles is hosting this event.

Rise Against Hunger is a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. It’s also a really fun time!  Join us -to provide a lasting, real-life impact as we assemble start-to-finish meals, combining rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a packet of 20 vitamins and minerals into life-changing meal packages.  The Rise Against Hunger website is found here for anyone who wants to learn more:  https://www.riseagainsthunger.org

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
Be a worker on November 15
Anyone from age 5 – 105 can participate.
There are jobs designed for every level of energy and physical capabilities.
